Price List Options
As you will see among the featured instruments, I have no real standard size or shape for any of my instruments. In fact, few of my customers request anything that could be considered “standard”. Some will start as unique interpretations of instruments designed by past masters; while others are innovations inspired by the need to achieve a specific voice.
There are a variety of elements to consider here including the wood combination for top back and sides, body size and depth, appointments, optimal scale length, neck construction, width and shape, nut width, string spacing at the nut and saddle, finish etc.
Your playing style is also important to factor in; do you have a light touch, a more aggressive attack or something in between? I also want to have a sense of what dissatisfaction or limitations you find with your current instrument.
My approach is to understand your needs – physically, sonically and esthetically, so I always encourage discussing these thoroughly. This means I can begin with the end in mind. Then, using the finest materials available, I ensure that your instrument is meticulously crafted to uncompromising standards.
